Job Description
Italian Speaking Credit ControllerLondon (mainly home based - required to come into the office approximately once a quarter)
Up to £34,000 + excellent benefits
A leading global fashion company is currently looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Italian Credit Controller to join its international team. Reporting into the Credit Control Team Leader, you will responsible for your own international ledger focusing primarily on an Italian client base. Your duties will include:
- Minimising aged debt
- Timely and effective cash collection
- Evaluating customer credit files
- Building strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Ensuring billing issues are kept to a minimum
- Working closely with both the customers and the relevant internal teams to resolve queries quickly and efficiently
- Ensuring prompt payment of overdues
- Making recommendations to manager on accounts (e.g. credit limit extended/reduced, account to be closed etc)
- Monthly account reconciliations
- Prioritising the timely release of orders to customers
- Setting up payment plans where required
Experience/Skills Required:
- Italian speaker (written/oral)
- Previous credit control experience
- Highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- Logical and creative thinker
- Personable and confident individual who enjoys working as part of a team
