Near Maldon
My client is a growing and fast paced business that is looking to expand its Credit Control team. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be part of a team of 4. It is working in a lively office that is relaxed and fast paced. They are looking for someone who has experience within Credit Control who has dealt with large corporate accounts and has strong query resolution and reconciliations experience. You need to be confident in communicating and be able to liaise internally to help queries get resolved quickly.
Job details
• Setting up new accounts and credit checking
• Credit insurance administration
• Chasing customers by telephone, email, portals and statements
• Liaising internally with sales, billings and operations
• Allocating cash
• Checking status of invoices on portals
• Investigating and resolving complex invoice queries
• Reconciling accounts
• Credit card and cash reconciliations
• Preparing statements to send to customers
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years Credit Control experience
• Experience of reconciliation and portals is essential
• A passion for query resolution and problem solving
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage your own work load in a busy environment
• Strong work ethic, common sense, positive attitude and a sense of fun
• Ability to make recommendations for process improvement
