Job Description
Credit ControllerThurrock
£28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
37 hours a week, 5pm finish. Parking on site
Reporting to the Credit Manager, working as part of a close team of 5 Credit Controllers. This is a newly created role due to growth within the company.
Managing a ledger of 150 live accounts, worth £1.2million monthly
Customer base - wide variety of customers from large corporates, public sector and lots of SME’s
Opening new accounts, setting and monitoring of credit limits
Ensuring weekly and monthly invoices go out (automated)
Chasing customers for outstanding debts
Dealing with invoice queries
Raising credit notes, sending copy invoices & statements
Liaising with sales and accounts manager to help resolve queries
Allocating cash received
Requirements
5-10 years credit control experience ideally
Friendly, positive & energetic personality
Excellent communication skills - able to deal with a wide variety of customers
Attention to detail
Experience of working in an industry dealing with a product rather than services is essential
