Credit ControllerUp to £22,000 + study support CICM
Basildon
Working as part of a growing and progressive credit control team. You will report to the Credit Control Supervisor and be part of a team of 4. My client is looking for someone with 18-24 months credit control experience who is looking for a credit control role that will offer progression and development.
Job details
• Managing a ledger of 150 live accounts worth approx. £1million monthly
• Opening new accounts and setting credit limits
• Chasing outstanding debts and resolving customer queries
• Sending out monthly statements
• Cash allocation - processing cash receipts daily
• Uploading bank statements on to the system (GBP/EUR/USD)
• Proof checking remittance advices
• Invoice checking reports
• Reconciling and investigating any outstanding balances within the bank accounts
• Resolving customer queries
• Preparing invoice check report
• Preparing accounts to pass for legal action when required
• Putting customers on stop were necessary and communicate this to relevant personnel
• Review and highlight bad debt risks
• General administration duties i.e. creating and amending customer account details
Requirements
• Credit control experience in a business environment
• Strong worth ethic and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
• An interest in studying CICM and progressing your career
